About Lucia Hegenbartova

Lucia Hegenbartova is a breathwork teacher and executive coach in Berlin and the founder of The Breath Lab. She works with founders, CEOs and leadership teams on what she calls nervous system intelligence: breath-based tools that settle stress in the moment, combined with longer-term training for clear thinking under pressure.

She came to this work from the technology industry. Over 15 years she helped scale technology companies and held four C-level roles. She was Chief Operating Officer at the data infrastructure company Contiamo and VP Marketing at CrossEngage and at commercetools, then joined the Swedish fintech Dreams in April 2020, where she was Country Manager Germany and Head of Customer Success B2B before being appointed Chief Commercial Officer in 2021. She studied business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and computer science at the Technical University of Munich.

Her own breath practice spans more than 15 years. She reports more than 1,600 hours of teacher training in breath and somatic movement and is an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor. In her teaching she combines traditional yogic pranayama with research-based functional breathing. She offers one-to-one executive coaching in Berlin and online, group programmes, workshops for leadership teams and keynotes.

On 16 September 2026 she spoke at Longevity Cities Berlin: "Nervous System Resilience: The Longevity Pillar You Can Train with Every Breath", held at The Longevity Practice in Berlin. The evening combined a talk on nervous system resilience and longevity with a 40-minute guided breath practice and a simple protocol for everyday use.
