What is Longevity Dublin?

Longevity Dublin is a free, science-based community for people in Dublin who want to stay healthy for longer. The Dublin chapter of Longevity Cities brings together people interested in health, fitness and better living, from complete beginners to those who already track their sleep and training. No medical background needed, just curiosity.

The community is just getting started. Its very first event is Coffee & Chat on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 10:00, meeting at Surge Coffee on Sir John Rogerson's Quay at Grand Canal Dock: a relaxed morning chat over coffee and a walk afterwards, weather permitting. It is an easy way to meet the people starting the chapter and to say what you would like to see next.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Dublin WhatsApp group linked on this page and register for Coffee & Chat in the calendar. Longevity Dublin is a community, not a longevity clinic. People come here to learn, compare notes on tests and check-ups and ask experts their questions, so you can make better decisions before spending money on anything.

Frequently asked questions

What is Longevity Dublin?
Longevity Dublin is the Dublin chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy ageing. It connects people in Dublin who care about health, fitness and longevity and want an evidence-based view of what actually helps. The chapter is brand new, and its first event is Coffee & Chat on 10 October 2026.
What is Coffee & Chat with Longevity Dublin?
Coffee & Chat is the first Longevity Dublin event: a relaxed Saturday morning on 10 October 2026 at 10:00, meeting at Surge Coffee, 76 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Grand Canal Dock. You chat with people interested in health, longevity, fitness and better living, then go for a walk together. Nobody needs prior knowledge, and coming alone is perfectly normal.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
The walk after Coffee & Chat depends on the weather, and this is Dublin, so the group is relaxed about it. The coffee and conversation are the heart of the morning, and a walk is a bonus when it is dry. For any last-minute change, check the event listing on this page and the Dublin WhatsApp group linked here, and dress for the weather if you plan to come along.
Is there a longevity clinic in Ireland or Dublin?
There are private longevity clinics in Ireland, mostly in Dublin, but Longevity Dublin is not one of them: we are a free community and do not diagnose, treat or sell anything. Prices vary widely between providers, so ask for a full itemised price including follow-ups before you book anything. Use the community to hear what other people chose and what they would ask differently.
How do I judge a longevity clinic offer in Ireland?
A good longevity offer names the physician who is responsible, uses tests that are guideline-based rather than experimental and tells you upfront what decision each result would change. Red flags are promises to reverse ageing, a treatment plan before any tests and pressure to buy supplements. Bring your questions to Longevity Dublin, where you can compare notes with members and hear experts at talks.
How can I test my biological age in Dublin?
In Dublin you can order an epigenetic test by post, ask your GP or a private lab for blood-based markers, or track fitness markers such as VO2max and grip strength. The fitness markers are free to estimate with the calculators and the grip-strength test with age norms on this site. Epigenetic clocks differ between providers, so treat one result as a snapshot and take it to a doctor if it worries you.
Where can I find a longevity or biohacking community in Dublin?
Longevity Dublin is a free place in Dublin to talk longevity, fitness and biohacking with an evidence filter. Coffee & Chat on 10 October 2026 is the first chance to meet in person, and the Dublin WhatsApp group linked on this page is where questions and ideas for the next meetups are collected. Early members have a big say in what the chapter becomes.
I am new to Dublin. How can I meet people through health and fitness?
Longevity Dublin is a friendly way in: the first event is a morning coffee at Grand Canal Dock followed by a walk, a setting where conversation comes naturally and nobody feels put on the spot. You do not need to be fit or know anything about longevity. The community is mixed in age and background, and all adults are welcome.
What does Longevity Dublin cost and how do I join?
Longevity Dublin is free to join: create an account, join the Dublin WhatsApp group linked on this page and register for Coffee & Chat in the calendar. There is no membership fee. At the Surge Coffee morning you pay for your own coffee, and every future event listing states costs upfront so you always know before you go.
