What is Longevity Barcelona?+−
Longevity Barcelona is the Barcelona chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy ageing. It brings people together around health, longevity, fitness and better living, starting with relaxed formats such as a Saturday morning walk along the sea followed by coffee. No specialist background and no elaborate routine required, just an interest in living well for longer.
Is there a longevity clinic in Barcelona?+−
Barcelona has private longevity and preventive-medicine clinics, but Longevity Barcelona is not one of them: we are a free community and neither diagnose nor treat. Clinic programmes typically combine blood work, a VO2max test, body composition and sometimes an epigenetic age test. Prices vary widely, so ask which physician is responsible and what decision each test result would change for you before you book.
Where can I test my biological age in Barcelona?+−
In Barcelona you can choose an epigenetic test sent by post, blood markers through a doctor or private lab, or simple fitness markers like VO2max and grip strength. Costs differ a lot between providers, so ask what exactly is included. Epigenetic clocks are still not standardised, so read one result as a snapshot. The free VO2max calculator and grip-strength test on this site are a good place to start.
What longevity events and meetups are there in Barcelona?+−
So far Longevity Barcelona has held the Barcelona Longevity Walk & Talk on 12 September 2026: around 5 km by the sea from the W Barcelona hotel at 9:00, then coffee. It was open to members of other chapters, including Longevity Shanghai. Every new meetup is added to the calendar on this page, and the Barcelona WhatsApp group linked here is the place to ask about dates.
Is there a longevity gym in Barcelona?+−
Longevity Barcelona is not a gym: we have no facility and no memberships, we are a free community that meets outdoors and at talks. Movement is still central, from a sea-front walk of around 5 km to fitness markers like VO2max and grip strength that you can check for free on this site. Most of what protects long-term health, such as regular walking and strength training, needs no special gym.
Is there a walking group by the sea in Barcelona?+−
Yes, the Walk & Talk format is exactly that: a relaxed group walk of around 5 km along the Barcelona seafront on a Saturday morning, with coffee afterwards. The first edition on 12 September 2026 started at 9:00 at the W Barcelona hotel. The point is to get your steps in and enjoy good conversations, not to set a pace. Check the calendar on this page for the next date.
How can I meet new people in Barcelona if I have just moved here?+−
A walk with coffee afterwards is one of the easiest ways to meet people in a new city, and that is the Longevity Barcelona starting point. You walk side by side, which makes conversation easy, and you meet people who care about health and living well. The Walk & Talk listing was written in English and welcomed guests from other chapters, so newcomers fit right in.
Where can I find a biohacking community in Barcelona?+−
Longevity Barcelona is a free place in Barcelona to talk about health, fitness and longevity with an evidence filter. You can swap experiences with sleep, training and nutrition, and ask how to judge a health claim before you spend money on it. Between meetups, the conversation continues in the Barcelona WhatsApp group linked on this page.
What does Longevity Barcelona cost and how do I join?+−
Longevity Barcelona is free to join: create an account, join the Barcelona WhatsApp group linked on this page and sign up for a meetup in the calendar. A seafront walk costs nothing except what you order at the coffee stop afterwards. If a future event has a ticket, food or equipment cost, the listing states it before you register.
