What is Longevity Regensburg?

Longevity Regensburg is a free, science-based community for people in Regensburg who want to stay healthy for longer, currently in its founding phase. It is the Regensburg chapter of Longevity Cities and is meant for anyone curious about movement, sleep, nutrition, stress and good relationships, no medical background needed.

No events have been published yet, and the founding group is still forming. The plan is to start simple: walks along the Danube and in the Donaupark, a first expert talk and honest conversations about what is worth trying. Regensburg brings plenty of ingredients, from the Old Town around the Steinerne Brücke to a university city full of curious people. The first meetups will be announced on this page.

You can already join for free: create an account and follow this page and the events calendar. If you would like to co-organise the first meetup, get in touch through the contact page of the site. Longevity Regensburg is a community, not a longevity clinic. People come here to learn, compare notes on tests and check-ups and ask experts their questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Longevity Regensburg?+
Longevity Regensburg is the Regensburg chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy ageing that is currently being founded. It aims to connect people in Regensburg who want to know what really supports a long, healthy life: movement, sleep, food, stress and relationships. No events are published yet, and founding members are welcome. Anyone can join, no scientific background required.
Is there a longevity clinic or longevity doctor in Regensburg?+
Longevity Regensburg is not a clinic or a doctor's practice: we are a free community and do not diagnose, treat or sell anything. Private longevity check-ups exist in Germany and typically cost roughly 1,500 to 2,500 euros without imaging, which statutory insurance does not cover. Watch for pressure: a good provider explains each test and never leans on you to buy supplements.
Where can I test my biological age in Regensburg?+
Three routes work from Regensburg: an epigenetic test by post (roughly 130 to 400 euros), an extended blood panel through your GP or a private lab (roughly 150 to 450 euros) and fitness markers such as VO2max and grip strength. One result is a snapshot, not a verdict. You can start for free with the face-age test, VO2max calculator and grip-strength test with age norms on this site.
Are there longevity events or meetups in Regensburg?+
Not yet: Longevity Regensburg is a seed chapter and has not published its first meetup. The first dates, likely a walk or an expert evening, will be announced on this page and in the events calendar as soon as they are confirmed. If you create a free account and follow the page, you will see them first.
How can I help start Longevity Regensburg?+
Co-organisers and founding members are exactly what the chapter needs right now. Create a free account, then get in touch through the contact page of the site and tell us what you would like to do: host a walk, find a venue, invite a speaker or simply be the first to show up. The first meetup will be shaped by the people who get involved early.
Where can I walk or exercise outdoors in Regensburg?+
The Donaupark is Regensburg's largest park: about 40 hectares along the Danube with a lake and around six kilometres of paths, ideal for an easy walk or a slow jog. The river banks and the Old Town add more options. These are settings for the conversations Longevity Regensburg wants to start; official meetups will appear in the calendar once they are published.
Where can I find a biohacking and healthy-living community in Regensburg?+
Longevity Regensburg is being built as a free place in Regensburg to talk biohacking and healthy living with an evidence filter. Sleep, movement, nutrition, stress and wearables are all fair game, and both beginners and data enthusiasts are welcome. Create a free account now and follow this page: you will be among the first to hear about the first meetup.
How can I meet new people in Regensburg?+
Building a new community is one of the friendliest ways to meet people in Regensburg, because everybody at the start is new. Whether you are a student, a newcomer or a long-time local, you can shape what the first meetups look like. Create a free account, follow this page and say hello when the first walk or talk is announced. All adults are welcome.
What does Longevity Regensburg cost?+
Longevity Regensburg is free: an account and taking part in the community cost nothing, and there is no membership fee. Once the first meetups are published, each listing states any costs upfront, such as a coffee you order yourself. A walk in the Donaupark or along the Danube costs nothing, whether you do it alone or in a group.
